The ranch was beautiful, the accommodations were comfortable, the food was excellent, the riding was perfect, but what made this place special were the owners and all of the exceptional people working at the ranch. They made our time there simply wonderful, we've never been treated with such friendly warmth on our travels. They all have a great sense of humor too.I really missed my big breakfast and trail ride this morning.The Running R will be a yearly stop for our family - kid friendly, great hosts, and tons of fun - it's an unbeatable combination.See ya'll in the Fall. My daugher, Isabella, a passionate horse rider, loved every bit of the cowboy experience. Ava, the little daughter, enjoyed the horse riding as well as the swimming pool. They both started lobbying the parents for settling in at your ranch on permanent basis. We all want to return and hopefully it will be soon. This was a birthday surprise for Tom and he LOVED it! I also appreciate ya'll helping me by putting his surprise present (the banjo) in our cabin before we got there! The horses were great and I loved that we were able to trot and lope instead of just walking the trails. The views were beautiful and the environment was so peaceful ans stress free. I loved being able to brush and feed the horses and help clean stalls. When we left I felt like I was leaving home. Please give Shadow a big kiss for me.
